Development, Displacement of Tribal communities: Rights and Rehabilitation

Indian is known for the largest tribal communities of the world after Africa. The 1/4th Part of India population is filled with tribes. India has the 698 different tribes. according to the Statistics. Andhra Pradesh has the largest tribal Population among the southern states. Andh, Gonds, Bhils or Bheels, Santhal, munda, khasi, Garo, Angami, Bhutia, Chenchu, kodaba, names of some tribes in India. When it comes to the tribes every person thinks the communities which are back from modern society and development, which are suffering in the backwardness without proper facilities to live and also to the communities .which are more connected to the nature the modern society.

The development word is only a misnomer with regard to tribal community. The moot question always is the role of the government in the way of development of the tribal. Why is the development of tribal communities is hard to the government. The level of the poverty in the tribal communities is more in addition to The land problems. The constitution rights, welfare programs.

As everyone get to know that it is every time problem from the beginning of the independence, it is very challenging to the Government to develop the tribal areas and communities. The inefficient Administration Governance is a hamper for development of Tribal communities. With the help of statistics, The rights and Development and Displacement Tribal Communities, Rehabilitation and the Problems that are facing by tribals are will be central to the paper.

The extinction of two mainly resources of the tribals namely land and the forest.
The main problems that are in tribals
1. Poverty and exploitation
2. Land alienation
3. Economic & technological backwardness
4. Social – cultural handicaps
5. Illiteracy among tribals is a major hindrance to their development.
6. Indebtedness due to lack of adequate sources of income.

We have Articles and Provisions, rights in Indian Constitution some of them are.
Article 366(25) defines scheduled tribes. FRA [Forest Rights Act] 2006 it is also known as Tribal Rights Act (or) Tribal Land Act. It deals with the rights of the communities that dwell. 

 The forests, over land and other resources. Part X in the constitution is on the scheduled and tribal areas.
244 – Administration of scheduled areas and tribal area.
244A – Formation of an autonomous state comprising certain tribal areas in Assam and creation of local legislature or council of minister or both there for.

To deal with the problems what we should do:-
1. Awareness and educating then
2. Health service to remote populations
3. Transportation for expectant mother.
